CeBIT, the world’s biggest IT exhibition, can also be regarded as a talent magnet.
CeBIT 2017 was no exception; and it was a great place for us to look out for future talent - from students looking for a traineeship, to university graduates, as well as young professionals looking for the next step up the career ladder.
During the entire week of the trade fair many of these talented individuals grabbed the chance to talk to us - the Software AG HR recruiters for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In a professional, but still relaxed, atmosphere they had the opportunity to get answers to many of their questions. For example, they wanted to know the right way to apply for a traineeship, or whether or not we have any openings for management positions.
One of our key highlights was the visit from our current work experience students (“Duales Studium” in German) who were invited by HR to spend a day at CeBIT. They were impressed by our booth, in particular how - with the help of ARIS - a tractor made out of Lego bricks can be put together automatically. They noticed just how versatile IT really is and that IT is indeed omnipresent. It was great to exchange ideas and experiences with our students during CeBIT.
As a little thank-you, everyone received our fun and tasty giveaways. Hopefully one or two visitors will someday not only show off one of our trendy sport bags but will also be able to help shape our digital future today.
