IoT Tech Expo Global will attract up to 6,500 attendees, while co-located blockchain and artificial intelligence streams will gather another 6,000 plus.

Anthony Sayers – IoT Evangelist at Software AG – will take part in a panel discussion in the Developing for IoT stream. The Future of IoT – Predictions for a Connected World, will take place on April 18 from 09:20-10:00. Moderator, Ian Hughes, Senior Analyst for Internet of Things at 451 Research, will ask questions like “What are the newest innovations within IoT software, hardware and platforms?” and “What will companies have to do to still be viable in a 2022 IoT marketplace?”

Other panelists include Roberto Hortal, Former Digital, Innovation and Product Director for Co-op, and Blaine Tookey, Technology Principal at Software AG customer BP. They will all swap predictions as to which sectors will see growth in the next 5 years and which ones will fall by the wayside, as well as the role of other disruptive tech like AI, machine learning and blockchain in IoT.

The same day, from 10:30-11:10 in the Connected Industry stream, our SVP for IoT and Cloud, Bernd Gross, will be joined by Andreas Geiss, VP & CTO MindSphere from our partner and customer Siemens. The two will present and discuss Siemens Mindsphere Case Study: The 3 Founding Principals of Successful IoT Initiatives.
